PLOY (new project)

Shadow (2008-09) is a new dance work, which will be initiated in Summer 2008. Through a long-term collaborative process with a magician, a multi-media artist, a sonic designer and a lighting designer, the work will discover its physicality, visual elements, theatricality in its illusory matrix of time and space. With fascination with Tony Oursler and Pipilotti Rist's video installations, Shadow will challenge to discover, redefine, and reconstruct the space between the reality and illusive medium. I am interested in investigating sensorial experiences, giving life to static objects and reaching beyond our limitation to perceiving visual/audio information in real life.
